It all began in the mid 80's. The love for the culture of hip hop. Bj Blunt practiced the art of dance throughout the 80's. In 1990 she took to the stage at local showcase dancing to the sounds of Rob Base and Bel Biv Devoe. Bj Blunt was writing poetry as at teen. She enjoyed sharing her poetry with family and friends. It was then that a friend suggested she write to a hip hop instrumentals, playing her  Craig Mac "Fava In ya Ear". the rest was history.

In 1995 she had her first experience recording in a professional studio. A year later she went onto to create an album Titled "Talking Wall" at an Independent Record Label which was never released. Bj Blunt's first album was release In 2004 Titled "ALIVE" also, on an Independent Record Label. She went on to release another album with the label In 2006 Titled "Stepping Stoned". In 2019 Bj Blunt released "Bad Bitch" independently and is currently being distributed by Flourish & Prosper. Recent releases include  "Soy Mexicana" 2023 and a feature on a Vince One track Titled  "Perspective" 2024. Bj Blunt will be delivering new music to listen to through out the year!
